Welcome to ScruffCuts Dog Grooming!
It’s always been a dream of mine to work with dogs, so after a few lockdown haircuts for my own dog, Digby, in 2021 I decided to take the plunge and completed my iPet Level 3 Dog Grooming qualification. From there I opened ScruffCuts and have never looked back!

I work one on one with your dogs so they will be with me from start to finish, and promise to treat them with the same love and care as if they were my own. I try to be as flexible as possible to do what is best for your dog, and will tailor my services to suit their needs. If you have any concerns at all about your dogs needs, please don't hesitate to get in touch - I'm sure there is something we can do for you! I can honestly hand on heart say that I love my job, and meeting your doggies always puts a smile on my face.

A little bit about me
I’ve always been completely animal mad, and my house was nicknamed ‘the zoo’ by my friends growing up. We’ve had dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, gerbils – the lot!

Over the years I’ve been lucky enough to have many dogs in my life, the first being our Collie cross, Pickle, who used to guard me in my pram. Since then, we’ve been blessed with a Scottish Terrier, Maltese Terrier, Border Collie and a Jack Russell Cross, so it’s fair to say we’ve had quite the mix!

After moving in with my then boyfriend, now husband, I lasted about 4 weeks before I insisted that we needed a dog and I couldn’t live without one. Two months later we were a happy family of 3 having found Digby, our Schnauzer- Shih-Tzu-Beagle cross (we like to call him a very happy accident), and despite the chaos that comes with a puppy, we couldn’t have been happier.

During my free time you’ll find me out on long country walks with my boys, usually with a strategically placed pub pitstop for a rest by the fire where I tend to attract the local dogs to our table – I like to think it’s me but in reality I know it’s the treats in my pocket!
